Listed below are people who have defended the independence of The United Kingdom during the post-war years when new and powerful attacks on the very existence of our nation have been launched. Most remain unrecognised and some have died before the outcome of this great battle is known.

If the national independence of Britain is recovered it will be a tribute to all the stoic defenders, both past and present, in this 'virtual war'. Their names and example should be remembered just as those who have fallen in battle defending the very same principles are remembered, because that is the best defence against a repeat performance.

Indeed iIt is our duty to remember them so that they might be an inspiration to future generations, who will doubtless have to fight again.
